Local sky viewing enthusiast group and Heart of the Gila provide Dark Sky preservation info and the study of the sun and dark skies !  Learn about solar flares, CMEs, what the surface textures mean, try the supervised telescope viewing using filters to protect our eyes. Night sky telescope outings to be announced.
Heart Of The Gila collaborates with partners from diverse communities, organizations and agencies, providing biological research, conservation and ecological restoration, environmental education, public lands stewardship and advocacy for wild places.
